Our Mission

As special educators, we provide quality educational and support services to students with disabilities to promote the acquisition of academic, behavioral, and social skills.  We serve the whole child. We believe students respond to high, yet attainable, expectations expressed through IEP goals and objectives. We know our students will achieve the greatest independence possible and be active school and community participants alongside their non-disabled peers through data-based IEP programming, research-based interventions, and inclusive practices at school.  The provision of these special services in Harrison are always in accordance with IDEA standards and ADE rules and regulations.

As special education professionals, we respect the dignity and confidentiality of individuals with disabilities and their families.  It is our responsibility to continually develop our craft and remain current on educational best practices and legal trends. Our students know serving them was our first choice, and they are exceptional Goblins!
