Superintendent - Dr. Stewart Pratt
Stewart Pratt was raised along the banks of the Current River and received his high school diploma from Carter County R-1 Schools in Van Buren, Missouri. Influenced by outstanding educators, Pratt began his coursework in education, completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education in 1982 at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. Pratt worked 11 years in the classroom leading secondary sciences and physical education courses. Pratt then completed his Master's degree in Educational Administration from Missouri State University in 2003 and became High School Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Branson R-IV Schools from 2003 - 2007. In 2007, Pratt completed a Specialist degree in Educational Administration (Ed. S.) and accepted the High School Principal position at Willard R-II Schools. In 2012, Willard Schools promoted Pratt to Assistant Superintendent with primary responsiblities of K-12 academic learning and staff growth. In February 2017, Pratt received his Educational Doctoral degree (Ed. D.) from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, MO. Dr. Pratt was selected to lead Harrison Schools as Superintendent of Schools and began his tenure on July 1, 2017. Dr. Pratt and his wife, Sandra, have been married for 37 years and enjoy four grown children and eight grandchildren.
