Please help me congratulate the following students who were accepted into the

Hendrix University Windgate Museum Art Show.

The Theme is "Imaginative Machines."

Students were asked to dig deep into their imaginations to produce and design mechanical marvels the world had never seen. The student wrote an artist statement describing the function of their design. This show will be paired with the "kinetikos": of motion spring exhibition.

William Bryce Presley: "The Handy Guardian."   Graphite drawing and digital techniques:

Function: The hand hovers over the child like a hologram, using a grid sensor to warn parents when the child is in danger.

Ethan Ables: "Security system"   Graphic drawing and digital techniques

Function: Mechanical guards, robots, drones, and birds keep a watch over government buildings.

Jordan Fields: "Miss Tessa"   Photography and digital techniques

Function: A programmed tutor to assist students with on-the-spot guidance for the current lesson or make-up work.  Miss Tessa reiterates the teacher's curriculum and instruction.

Aubrey Brandon: "The Mechanical Monarch"

Function: The Mechanical Monarch is a new age butterfly that pollinates our plants just like any other, but its pollination is special. It pollinates by growing plants three times their normal size, blossoming, and sprouting more than a normal plant exponentially.
