Five Harrison High School Choir Students earned a spot in the Arkansas All-State Choir on Saturday. They sang 3 prepared pieces of music and sight read a brand new excerpt for judges. The Arkansas All-State choir convenes for rehearsals on Thursday, February 18th in Hot Springs with a culminating concert on Saturday, February 21st at the Hot Spring Convention Center.
Left to Right: Jerome Sweatman is a junior and earned a place in the Mixed Choir singing Tenor 1 in 25th chair. Delaney Hodges, Alto 2, is a junior and sang her sight reading excerpt perfectly, receiving a 26/26 points. She earned a spot in the Treble Choir in 47th chair. Ayden Choate, a Bass 2 sophomore, is a 2nd alternate and has the potential to move into the choir before the clinic begins. Landon Clements is a sophomore Tenor 2 and earned a place in the Tenor Bass choir in 42nd chair. Warren Tomlinson, a Tenor 2 junior, earned a place in the Tenor Bass Choir in 48th chair.
