Our 8th grade Tools for Learning students are wrapping up their Safe Driving Video Project—and the videos are looking outstanding!
After building a strong foundation through reading, studying, and quizzes over the Arkansas Driver’s Manual, students are taking learning to the next level by creating their own instructional videos. From demonstrating proper signaling and safe following distances to showing the wrong choices drivers can make, students are bringing these concepts to life in creative and meaningful ways.

This project wasn’t just about making videos—it was about:
✔️ Applying real-world skills
✔️ Working as a team
✔️ Thinking critically about safety and decision-making
✔️ Teaching others through creativity

Students wrote scripts, filmed scenes, solved problems, and supported one another throughout the process. It has been great to see so many step into leadership roles and take ownership of their learning.
We are proud of the effort, creativity, and growth shown by our students. Be sure to ask them about their video and what they are teaching about safe driving!
