We are super excited to welcome Dr. Ashley Wellman to Skyline next week to help us celebrate Read Across America! Dr. Wellman is an Arkansas author and will be a special guest speaker for our first and second graders. She will read one (or more!) of her books and chat with the students about being an author. Students can pre-order signed copies of her books and Dr. Wellman will bring them with her on Tuesday. For more information and how to order, check our the flyer.

Skyline is thrilled to welcome graphic artist Gustav Carlson next week to help us celebrate Read Across America! Gustav is a Newton County Native with a degree in creative writing from UCA. He has worked as a professional illustrator and comic creator, whether working on his own comics, such as Eve of the Ozarks, or other work across a wide array of visual mediums. Gus will present to our third and fourth graders and lead them in interactive drawings
