Kindergarten Registration

WELCOME to Harrison Kindergarten!

Enrolling your child at Harrison Kindergarten is an investment in their future!

Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year opened on April 1, 2025.

Kindergarten students must be five years of age on or before August 1 of the enrolling year.

Please call the Kindergarten office at 870-741-5043 if you need to register for the current (2024-25) school year.

Kindergarten students will attend at Harrison Kindergarten, 500 N. Chestnut Street.

 1. Gather All Required Documents

  • Birth Certificate*
    (for children born in Arkansas, a certificate may be obtained from the Boone County Health Office. Hours are M,W 8:00 - 3:30 Tues. 9:30 - 5:00. Parents must present a photo ID and pay a fee of $12.00.)

  • Proof of Residency**                

  • Current Immunization Records

  • Court Order (if applicable)

  • Parent Photo ID

  • Student Social Security Card

Please note:

The PowerSchool Parent Pick-Up Upload is NOT required. Please follow building guidelines and policies for student pickup. 

School Lunch/Meal Forms for the 2025 – 26 school year are not yet available and will be distributed at a later date. 

2. Create a PowerSchool Account and Register Your Student

Please create only ONE account per household and use the email address to which all school district correspondence should be directed.

 3. Finalize Registration

Registration will not be complete until all required documents and forms are delivered to Harrison Kindergarten either by upload or in person.

4.  Begin school!

The first day of school for the 2025-26 school year will be Monday, August 11.

Registration information is needed by our district in order to make important decisions regarding staffing at our schools. Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) class-size standards limit the number of children in a classroom for each teacher based on the grade-level of students. Preschool and Kindergarten classrooms are limited to 20 or fewer students. Because of this, we ask that you promptly and accurately fill out this registration information. Decisions regarding classroom placements will be made as soon as possible and are based on current completed registrations. However, in order to be as accurate as possible on classroom assignments, that information may not be released until after August 1, 2025.

*If unable to produce an official birth certificate, please contact the Harrison School District Office for additional guidance.

**Must be within the Harrison School District boundaries (e.g. a recent utility bill or rental agreement with verifiable parent name and 911 address). The following will NOT be accepted: P.O. Box Number, personal property tax receipt, phone bill, mail with the address.)  If your address is not within the boundaries of Harrison School District, please contact the district office for legal transfer information or click here for online access.
