Harrison Special Services team members Andrea Sutton, Brenda Landrum, Amber Likes, Melissa Peck, and Tammie Bright are attending the 2025 Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators (AASEA) Conference at the Benton Event Center in Benton, Arkansas this week. This year's conference, titled "For the Love of Special Education", focuses on advocating for and supporting students with disabilities. Sessions discuss building and supporting learning environments where every learner's unique needs are acknowledged and met with compassion and effectiveness.

The conference's keynote speaker, Mickey Rowe, an American autistic and legally blind author, is a leading expert on inclusive and accessible education and the author of A Kids Book About Special Education Mr. Rowe is also author of the award-winning best-selling book Fearlessly Different: An Autistic Actor's Journey to Broadway's Biggest Stage.

State leaders are also in attendance to provide updates and information needed for the year ahead.
