Camp Invention started today at Harrison Middle School! This four-day camp is packed with exciting hands-on challenges and fun educational experiences. Activities will spark curiosity and build students' confidence as they dive into opportunities to imagine, experiment and create.
Campers will design and build their own mechanical claw machine, complete with prizes.
They will uncover the science behind optical illusions in art, movies, attractions, theater, and animation by constructing their own moving special effects props.
They will build their own transmitter and receiver, custom dashboard, and travel map!
And - they will investigate penguins and the ice and snow of Antarctica. Using a robotic assistant, campers will help to develop penguin and planet-saving prototypes.
