Dr. Stewart Pratt, Harrison Superintendent of Schools led a panel discussion on "Empowering Families and Supporting Children with Behavior Health Issues" today at the Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators (AAEA) Conference in Little Rock.
The discussion outlined a collaborative pilot project between Harrison Schhols, University of Arkansas Partners and the Prevention Pilot Program for Children and Families. This pilot program partners with Harrison and three other school districts (Horatio, Warren, and Batesville) in the state.
The program provides assistance to students from birth through high school. The panel, which included Harrison team members Amber Likes, Brandy Urioste, Susan Gilley, and UARK personnel, shared information about the pilot, student and family success stories, and information about the possible future impact for students and families.
