Emilie Ply and students with Arvest team

It was a wonderful start to the day at Forest Heights Elementary! This morning, first-year teacher Emilie Ply was surprised in her classroom by team members from our local Arvest Bank.

Mrs. Ply is one of the selected educators this year to receive a generous $500 award through Arvest's "We Love Teachers" program. This money is provided to help teachers purchase supplemental classroom supplies for projects and programs to benefit their students.

As Arvest’s website states, "We’re proud to honor these teachers, and it’s our hope the award money will help contribute to a positive learning environment."

On hand to celebrate and congratulate Mrs. Ply were Principal Mark Ditmanson and Superintendent Dr. Stewart Pratt.

We are incredibly proud of Mrs. Ply and all the hard work she’s putting in during her first year of teaching here in Harrison - and we are so happy to have her on our Goblin team!

A huge thank you to Arvest Bank for their continued support of our educators and students.

Let's all give Mrs. Ply a huge round of applause!
