Earlier this week, the Harrison High School Band ran into a tricky situation while in Rogers. An essential part of their equipment transport—the ramp under the semi trailer—experienced a mechanical failure, requiring immediate welding before the band could safely pack up and return home.
After several attempts to find a local Rogers business that could provide on-site repair, hope began to fade.
That's when a true community hero stepped up!
We want to send a massive and heartfelt thank you to Mr. Ryan Reeves of Hog Creek Machine and Fab! Mr. Reeves answered our distress call, loaded up his welding gear, and drove two hours to Rogers to repair the ramp on-site.
His quick action and generosity ensured the safety of our students, allowing them to properly and safely load and unload the truck. More importantly, his work guaranteed all the band's essential equipment could make the journey back home to Harrison.
It's a fantastic reminder of the incredible people and businesses we have right here in our community. We are profoundly grateful for Mr. Reeves' dedication to our students and school!
