Students in front of ARDOT dump truck

What an exciting day at Harrison Preschool! Our youngest learners are getting an up-close look at some of the amazing people who make our community great—our Community Helpers!

We are so grateful to the volunteers from our area businesses and services who have taken time out to talk to our students about their important jobs.

Today's special guests included team members from the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT), who brought their big dump truck for the preschoolers to explore! Plus, we were joined by Karleigh Akers from Sweet Honey Cafe & Bakery, who taught the students all about the fun of decorating cupcakes. Talk about a sweet lesson! 🧁

Our preschoolers are learning all about different careers. Other community helpers who have contributed to this experience recently include members of the local police department, fire department, EMS/ambulance team, a hair stylist, and several more!

It’s fantastic for our students to see and understand all the different jobs that help our community thrive every single day. Thank you to everyone who made this fun and educational experience possible!
