students at Northark

Harrison's ninth and tenth-grade students spent a productive morning at North Arkansas College for Health Career Day, gaining valuable exposure to a variety of healthcare professions available in our region. This career exploration event was organized by the Harrison High School Career Coaches to help students gather essential information for their future professional paths.

Students received program overviews, attended presentations, and participated in interactive training stations across various health departments. The programs showcased included CN/Medical Assisting, Radiologic Technology, Nursing, Surgical Technology, Paramedic, and Medical Laboratory Technician.

An important achievement was highlighted during the event: Northark's Radiologic Technology program maintains an impressive record with a 100% credentialing exam pass rate and a 100% employment rate for its graduates. This statistic underscores the quality of training available to students considering this field.

The event concluded with lunch, providing students with substantial insight to help them with the important decision of choosing a career. We extend our thanks to Northark for hosting this exceptional opportunity.
