If you noticed things running extra smoothly at Harrison Middle School today, there is a good reason. There’s a new boss in town! Everyone, please welcome our acting Assistant Principal, 5th grader Callie Monk!
Callie secured this coveted position by winning the "Assistant Principal for a Day" prize during the recent HMS Glow Party, and she has been taking her responsibilities very seriously. She is spending the day shadowing Mr. Trent Brewer and learning the ropes of running a school.
It hasn't been just fun and games; Callie has been hard at work since the morning bell. Her administrative duties began early with breakfast duty supervision. She also traveled to the Harrison Administration office to collect the building mail and ensure it was delivered safely back to HMS.
Between her official duties, Callie took time to boost morale by decorating the school for Christmas and writing personalized notes to teachers. She will finish her shift this afternoon assisting with dismissal supervision. If you see her in the halls or the car line, give her a wave!
Great job stepping up and leading the way, Callie! Thank you for your hard work and leadership today. The future of Harrison Schools looks bright!
