Students in hallway

If you walk down the 4th-grade halls at Skyline Heights Elementary today, you might just bump into the Grinch, Kevin McCallister, or Buddy the Elf!

Our incredible 4th-grade teachers came up with a brilliant new tradition this year: The Holiday Wax Museum.

Over the past few weeks, students have been hard at work combining creativity with curriculum. They chose a famous holiday character from a book or movie, researched them, and wrote their own biographical scripts. After creating costumes and rehearsing their lines, they are finally ready for the spotlight!

How it works:The halls are lined with costumed "statues." Each student has a "button" painted on their hand. Guests press the button and the "statue" comes to life to deliver their presentation!

It is bustling with energy right now as parents, grandparents, siblings, and friends tour the museum. We are so proud of these students for their hard work in research, writing, and public speaking—and a huge shoutout to the teachers for making learning so magical!
