We are incredibly proud of our 4th grade Gifted & Talented (GT) students for completing a heartwarming community service project!
Under the guidance of GT teacher Kheidi Davis, these students used proceeds from their recent Advent Calendar fundraiser to supply the district’s food pantry with complete "Birthday Boxes."
Working together with incredible teamwork, the students assembled kits designed to make celebrations easy for families in need. Each box thoughtfully includes: a cake pan, tablecloth, cake mix & frosting , Sprite (a great trick for baking without eggs/oil!), candles, and simple instructions.
Through this project, our students didn't just pack boxes; they unpacked the importance of empathy and the joy of giving back to their own community. Thank you to Mrs. Davis and our amazing 4th graders for making a positive impact!
