The Harrison School District is proud to announce that sevenHarrison High School students have successfully passed the Arkansas Paraprofessional Exam. This official certification proves they have the skills needed to support teachers and help students succeed in the classroom.
This achievement is a major milestone in our Pre-Educator H2 Pathway. This program allows HHS students to jumpstart their careers in education through three levels of study:
Intro to Education
Educational Technology
Child Growth and Development
Starting in Spring 2026, the district will even offer concurrent college classes, allowing students to earn college credit toward an education degree while still in high school.
By passing this exam, these seven students are now qualified to work as paraprofessionals or after-school tutors. The district’s goal is to support these students as they train to become the next generation of Harrison's teachers, coaches, and school leaders.
Congratulations to our certified students Maelynn Jackson, Sophi Wright, Kelby Kidder, Elizabeth Moak, Shyanne Lusk, Trey Crowder, and Nathalia Ochoa on this professional achievement!
