Harrison Schools is proud to announce that the first-grade students at Skyline Elementary have emerged as winners of the Prodigy January State Challenge.

The competition, held on the Prodigy math platform, tracks the number of curriculum-aligned math questions students answer correctly. By outperforming schools across the state, Skyline’s first graders secured the #1 spot in the state for the month of January.

This victory grants the school automatic entry into the Prodigy National Cup in May 2026. This national-level finale brings together the top schools from every state to compete for the title of National Champions and a share of more than $200,000 in technology grants. These grants are designed to fund technology upgrades, STEM initiatives, and student enrichment programs.

In addition to qualifying for the national finals, the students will receive a "Celebration Kit" containing Prodigy merchandise and exclusive in-game rewards to recognize their achievement as State Champions.

Congratulations first grade on this outstanding display of effort and teamwork!
