Harrison Preschool just wrapped up one of our favorite traditions of the year! Throughout the month of February, our little Goblins and their families proved that there is nothing quite like the magic of a good book.
To celebrate "For the Love of Reading" month, each student was sent home with ten paper hearts. The mission? Read ten books together as a family and record each title on a heart. The result is the stunning, collaborative masterpiece you see on our hallway walls—a sea of hundreds of hearts representing thousands of pages read!
From classics like The Jungle Book and Brown Bear, Brown Bear to new favorites like Punk Farm and The Rabbit Listened, our students have been busy exploring new worlds.
This month wasn't just about the hearts at home; it was a true community effort! We want to send a heartfelt thank you to our district administrators and community leaders who took the time to visit our classrooms and share their favorite stories with our preschoolers.
Seeing our "Big Goblins" read to our "Little Goblins" is a highlight of the year and shows our students that reading is a lifelong adventure.
Great job, families! Thank you for partnering with us to build a strong foundation for literacy. Keep turning those pages!
