Becca Jackson

Harrison Schools is proud to announce that Becca Jackson, a dedicated educator within our Gifted and Talented program, has been named a recipient of the 2026 National Agriculture in the Classroom (NAITCO) Conference Scholarship.

This distinguished honor is highly competitive; Ms. Jackson was selected as one of only 30 scholarship recipients from a national pool of more than 260 applicants. The scholarship, sponsored by the CHS Foundation, recognizes educators who demonstrate an exceptional understanding of agricultural literacy and a clear vision for integrating these vital concepts into their daily curriculum.

The NAITCO selection committee specifically commended Ms. Jackson for her compelling application and her strategic plans to integrate advanced agricultural concepts into her classroom. This scholarship provides Ms. Jackson with full registration and lodging for the 2026 National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference, held in Providence, Rhode Island, from June 22–25.

By attending this national summit, Ms. Jackson will collaborate with industry experts and fellow educators to bring cutting-edge, hands-on agricultural science and sustainability practices back to the Harrison School District. Her commitment to expanding the horizons of our Gifted and Talented students ensures they remain at the forefront of real-world problem-solving and environmental stewardship.

"Developing agricultural literacy is essential for our students to understand the complex systems that sustain our world. Ms. Jackson’s initiative in securing this national opportunity reflects her deep commitment to providing our students with a world-class education."
— Susan Gilley, Executive Director

Please join us in saying congratulations to Ms. Jackson on this achievement. We look forward to the innovative perspectives and resources she will implement in the coming academic year to benefit our students.
