Dr. Stewart Pratt and Dr. Charles Adair

Harrison Schools has a long-standing tradition of exceptional leadership, and today, that legacy was on full display.

We are honored to share that longtime retired Superintendent Dr. Charles Adair was presented with the prestigious Terry Stambaugh Special Merit Award at today’s Harrison Regional Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting at Signature Tower.

To our school family, Dr. Adair represents the very best of our district's history—a mentor and champion for students whose impact is still felt today. It was a special moment to see him recognized for his "service above self" spirit, standing alongside our current Superintendent, Dr. Stewart Pratt, who continues to lead our district with a dedication to excellence.

Named in memory of a devoted community servant, this award is reserved for those who demonstrate an extraordinary, lifelong commitment to Harrison. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Adair on this well-deserved honor!
