The March Board of Education meeting was a time of reflection and gratitude as the district celebrated the service of longtime board member Jon Burnside. Serving for 14 years and 5 months, Mr. Burnside has been a cornerstone of leadership for Harrison Schools. Throughout his tenure, he has served in multiple leadership capacities, including Secretary, Vice President, and President.
Superintendent Dr. Stewart Pratt expressed the district's deep appreciation for Mr. Burnside’s "humble, authentic leadership" and his significant impact as a mentor to the district.
