Harrison Preschool is hopping with excitement today! The students are diving deep into this week's "Frogs and Turtles" curriculum theme, and they had a very special visitor join the lesson.
One of our students, Autumn, brought in a real-life bullfrog to share with her class! Her grandpa caught the visitor just last night from the pond behind his house. Autumn was so excited about the visit that she spent time today chatting with Director Jenny Cowling, eagerly sharing all the cool bullfrog facts she’s learned!
We love seeing our youngest learners so engaged with the natural world. After a day of observation and hands-on learning, the bullfrog is headed back home this afternoon to be safely released into its pond.
Thank you to Autumn and her Grandpa for providing such a wonderful, memorable learning opportunity today. It’s family contributions like these that help our students’ curiosity truly take flight (or in this case, leap!).
