The Harrison School District is pleased to announce that Audrey Treat of Skyline Heights Elementary and Amber Smith of Forest Heights Elementary have been selected to join Cohort 11 of the prestigious IMPACT Arkansas Principal Fellows Program.

Developed by the University of Arkansas College of Education and Health Professions, the IMPACT Arkansas Fellowship is a highly selective leadership initiative. It is designed to prepare high-potential educators for future administrative roles through a rigorous 18-month program.

As part of this fellowship, Ms. Treat and Ms. Smith will:

  • Complete a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership through the University of Arkansas.

  • Participate in specialized training focused on school culture, instructional leadership, and data-driven school improvement.

  • Commit to serving as leaders within the Harrison School District upon completion of the program.

The selection of two of our educators speaks to the high caliber of professional talent within our district. The IMPACT program is supported by the Walton Family Foundation and the Windgate Foundation, aiming to strengthen Arkansas schools by "growing" effective leaders from within their own communities.

We extend our formal congratulations to Audrey and Amber for reaching this significant professional milestone. Their dedication to continuous improvement directly benefits our students, our staff, and the future of the Harrison School District.
