Thanks to a wonderful initiative proposed and led by Arvest Bank, our students at Forest Heights Elementary have completed a incredibly successful Coin Drive, raising $864.90 for the Harrison School District Food Pantry.
This project wouldn't have been possible without Spree Ragland and her dedicated team at Arvest. They didn't just support the drive—they proposed the idea, organized the logistics, and sponsored the entire project as part of their Million Meals campaign.
By partnering with our schools, Arvest is helping us tackle food insecurity head-on, ensuring our students have the nutrition they need to focus and thrive.
Our Forest Heights Goblins took the challenge to heart! While the drive has now wrapped up, the excitement is still high:
Top Earners: Our fourth-grade classes took the top spot for raising the most funds!
The Reward: Arvest celebrated these hardworking students with a fun popsicle party during recess.
Why Your Change Makes a Difference
Harrison Schools packs over 250 food bags every week for students in need.
It costs approximately $920 weekly to keep this program running.
Our pantry provides a critical safety net for families during weekends and throughout the summer break.
While the coins have been counted, the "Big Check" moment is coming soon! At the conclusion of Arvest’s Million Meals campaign in late May, the district will officially receive the funds to restock our pantry shelves.
We are so thankful that the team at Arvest Bank and the families at Forest Heights chose to make our students their priority.
