Members of the Harrison Schools Special Services Team recently attended the Arkansas Association of Special Education Administrators (AASEA) State Conference in Benton, held on June 9–10.
Guided by the conference’s core themes—Leading with Purpose, Clarity, and Support—the Harrison team engaged in professional development, collaborated with educators from across the state, and explored innovative strategies to enhance support for local students and families.
Harrison Schools is proud to announce that Amber Likes, Director of Special Services, was officially re-elected to the AASEA Board for the 2026-2027 school year. Likes, who has a proven track record of advocacy and leadership, will continue to bring a valuable voice from northwest Arkansas to the state level.
Having the team engage at the state level ensures Harrison remains at the forefront of exceptional special education services. The district is incredibly proud of Amber's continued leadership on the AASEA Board and the deep dedication of the entire Special Services team.
Please join us in congratulating Amber Likes and thanking our Special Services Team for their continuous dedication to the students of Harrison Schools!
