Stephanie Benton, the 2024 Arkansas Ag in the Classroom award recipient, and Becca Jackson, the 2025 NAITCO scholarship recipient, recently presented at the National Ag in the Classroom Conference in Minneapolis, MN. Educators from across the country attended their session, where they introduced their original unit, Seeds of Change. Participants not only walked away with fresh ideas for the classroom, but also enjoyed local Arkansas products as door prizes—and even learned how to “Call the Hogs.” Special thanks to Cavender’s for their signature seasoning and to Farmer Jack for his farm-raised beef sticks. Stephanie and Becca were honored to represent their state and share their passion for agricultural education with fellow educators from around the nation.
