This nationally recognized program helps families navigate today’s toughest tech topics—offering practical tools, expert advice, and real-life strategies to raise happy, healthy kids in a digital world. Harrison Middle School Morning Arrival Update
Due to ongoing road improvements, Harrison Middle School will open daily at 7:15 a.m.
Students arriving between 7:15 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. must use the front entrance only and report directly to the cafeteria.
After 7:30 a.m., students are encouraged to enjoy a FREE breakfast in the cafeteria before heading to class.
5th and 6th grade students will report to their homeroom.
7th and 8th grade students will report to their 1st period class.
Staff members will be present in the hallways to assist students and help them find their classrooms.
To cut down on confusion during the first few days of school, please make sure that your student knows how they are getting home. If you need bus information, please call the Harrison Bus Garage at 870-741-5847.

Due to ongoing road construction around Harrison Middle School, we will be splitting our Back-to-School Open House across two nights. This change is intended to help reduce congestion in the parking lots and surrounding roads during the event.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to make both evenings safe, smooth, and enjoyable for our students and their families.

The Harrison Middle School FBLA Nationals team is headed home from California today. We are so proud of our students because they placed Nationally!
6th place in the nation in Community Service Presentation - Ella Davidson
8th place in the nation in Annual Chapter Activities - Paysley Ruff, Leighann Cope, and Brynlee King
These students did a wonderful job. It is very difficult to place Nationally and for them to place top 8 their first year, is a very big deal.
Harrison Schools’ Transportation Department recognized last night (6/25/25) at the Arkansas Association of Pupil Transportation Hall of Honor Banquet with the Safety Award. Thank you, for your work and dedication to keeping our students safe! #GoGobs
Stephanie Benton, the 2024 Arkansas Ag in the Classroom award recipient, and Becca Jackson, the 2025 NAITCO scholarship recipient, recently presented at the National Ag in the Classroom Conference in Minneapolis, MN.
Educators from across the country attended their session, where they introduced their original unit, Seeds of Change. Participants not only walked away with fresh ideas for the classroom, but also enjoyed local Arkansas products as door prizes—and even learned how to “Call the Hogs.”
Special thanks to Cavender’s for their signature seasoning and to Farmer Jack for his farm-raised beef sticks. Stephanie and Becca were honored to represent their state and share their passion for agricultural education with fellow educators from around the nation.

Harrison Middle School is celebrating Assistant Principal Christine Reading today. As most of you know, Mrs. Reading is retiring after over 28 years in education, with 21 of those years dedicated to Harrison Schools. Her family was on hand for the celebration. Please join us in congratulating our Director of Percussion, Mr. Connor Skelly, for being selected as a quarterfinalist for the GRAMMY 2026 Music Educator Award! This award recognizes current educators who have made a significant and lasting contribution to the field of music education and who demonstrate a commitment to the broader cause of maintaining music education in the schools. Mr. Skelly is one of 200 quarter finalists in the country, and one of only 3 quarter finalists in Arkansas.
