Due to the ongoing road improvements on Goblin Drive, there will be traffic changes for Harrison Middle School students.
Please take a moment to review the updated maps that show the new pick-up and drop-off procedures.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to keep drop-offs and pick-ups as smooth and safe as possible.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the Middle School office for more information.

The Harrison Middle School FBLA Nationals team is headed home from California today. We are so proud of our students because they placed Nationally!
6th place in the nation in Community Service Presentation - Ella Davidson
8th place in the nation in Annual Chapter Activities - Paysley Ruff, Leighann Cope, and Brynlee King
These students did a wonderful job. It is very difficult to place Nationally and for them to place top 8 their first year, is a very big deal.

Stephanie Benton, the 2024 Arkansas Ag in the Classroom award recipient, and Becca Jackson, the 2025 NAITCO scholarship recipient, recently presented at the National Ag in the Classroom Conference in Minneapolis, MN.
Educators from across the country attended their session, where they introduced their original unit, Seeds of Change. Participants not only walked away with fresh ideas for the classroom, but also enjoyed local Arkansas products as door prizes—and even learned how to “Call the Hogs.”
Special thanks to Cavender’s for their signature seasoning and to Farmer Jack for his farm-raised beef sticks. Stephanie and Becca were honored to represent their state and share their passion for agricultural education with fellow educators from around the nation.

As most of you know, Mrs. Reading is retiring after over 28 years in education, with 21 of those years dedicated to Harrison Schools. Her family was on hand for the celebration. Summer will be here soon, and HMS will be offering a great summer program - SURVIVOR - to our students free of charge. See the attached flyer for more information and how to sign up. If your student is recommended for summer school by their teacher, or you know that they need extra help, summer school is blended in with the summer program this year in the form of small group tutoring. If a teacher recommends your student for summer school, we will send home notification of this by May 16. The summer program will run from June 2 - June 26 Monday - Thursday and is completely free, including free breakfast, lunch, and snack.
Here is what our director of summer school, Tracie Thomas, says: Summer school will look a little different this year. We are combining our summer fun program with summer school. All students attending summer school in K-8th grade will need to sign up for the summer program offered at your school through the attached flyer QR code or by contacting Staci Tucker at
stucker@hps.k12.ar.us. There will be a literacy and math teacher assigned to each school, and they will pull kids from the program for small group tutoring if they are in the summer school portion. The person who is directing the summer school portion is Tracie Thomas, who can be emailed at
tthomas@hps.k12.ar.us to receive further information.
