Harrison School District is accepting applications for a Middle school guidance counselor grades 5-6 for the 2024-2025 school year. The position will be a full-time (1.0 FTE) counselor position. Primary duties will focus on students' learning, personal/social/emotional needs, and scheduling. Applicants must possess appropriate Arkansas DESE certification. Previous experience is preferred but not required. Science classes conducted an experiment using the Scientific Method of Inquiry to find what happened to gummy bears when they were soaked in different fluids, such as water, vinegar, and baking soda water. (They doubled in size!) The students did a great job verbalizing how well their hypothesis stood up to the experiment!
