In this Christmas literacy STEM activity, students learned how to help Santa fly through the air by designing, building, and testing their own Santa catapults in the Kindergarten library. The students channeled the grit of Santa from the book How Santa Got His Job; they worked diligently, overcame a few initial failures, and through sheer determination, successfully launched their catapult.
