Apple lessons all around at the Kindergarten this week!

This week, our kindergarten students learned about the vital role community helpers play in our town. We extend our thanks to Nurse Bekah and Officer Powell for sharing their important work with our classes.

Mrs. Gilley, Mrs. Herrera, and Mrs. Burleson's students explored the vital role of community helpers and the importance of teamwork. Inspired by Kim Smith's Boxitects, the classes learned how architects collaborate with construction workers to build the spaces where community professionals serve. Embracing their creativity and newly acquired understanding of collaboration, these young boxitects then constructed buildings for various community helpers.
