Following our recent celebration of HHS Principal Jay Parker’s national article, we wanted to take a moment to introduce you to the student heart behind the initiative!
While the whole Key Club worked tirelessly to bring The Promise Project to life, the original vision came from HHS student Izzy Russell.
Izzy has been championing this idea since the fall of her junior year, working alongside Key Club sponsor Kyndall Jenkins to turn a dream of "Prom for Everyone" into a reality. From the first donation to the final boutique experience, Izzy’s dedication is a shining example of what happens when our students use their voices to lead.
We also want to give a shout-out to Victoria Macedo (pictured on the left with Izzy on the right) for her incredible support in making this event a success for their peers.
