Harrison Preschool students did a wonderful job leading the Pledge of Allegiance today at the Harrison Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Luncheon.
St. Patrick's Day is celebrated each year as a symbol of good fortune, with traditions like finding four-leaf clovers and wearing green. Harrison Preschool students celebrated St. Patrick's Day by creating wonderful art work highlighting things they cherish most. Good job, students!

Today is Grandparents' Day at Forest Heights Elementary's book fair!
Each year, the Arkansas Thespian Society elects a team of six students to represent Arkansas in the International Thespian Society. During their year of service, these student leaders travel the state encouraging other troupes, plan competitions and festivals, and regularly visit the Arkansas State Capitol to advocate for and promote Theatre Arts.
To be considered, students must complete a dedicated and lengthy process. Applicants must design a campaign, deliver speeches and essays, and conduct leadership workshops at the annual Arkansas State Thespian Festival.
We are excited to announce that Harrison High School student Mark Green has been elected as an Arkansas State Thespian Officer. Mark also currently serves on the Boozman Arkansas Congressional Youth Cabinet.
