
Tonight's HMS Got Talent Show was incredible! We have so many talented students! Thank you to those who participated by sharing your talent, to the families for coming to support the students, and for all the staff who volunteered their time to put the show on! If your child is in the talent show next week, there will be a rehearsal on Monday, March 3 after school at 3:30. Your child should go to the 5/6 gym at the 3:15 bell. Thank you.

Congratulations to our Robotics teams and their coaches Carrie Pellerin and Wendy Collins! Way to go!!! These teams will be competing at the state level!


The Harrison Middle School talent show has been rescheduled for Thursday, March 6, at 6:00PM in the HHS Performing Arts Center. Come cheer on our amazing students as they showcase their talents!


Announcement from the Volleyball Coach:
5/6 girls Volleyball clinics will continue on Monday and Tuesday up until Spring Break. 5th on Mondays and 6th on Tuesdays.

Reminder: There is no school for students tomorrow, Monday, February 17. Teachers will be at school receiving training. Thank you!

Calling ALL HMS 6th graders!
It is ALMOST your time to join the Harrison Band Family! We can’t wait to meet you all at our Band Info meeting on February 28th (during the school day)! And then the next week, it’s your turn to find your instrument!
We are mailing information about the Harrison Band program to all 6th grade families, so keep an eye on your mailboxes!

8th grade parents: The Medical Professions Field Trip is Thursday, Feb. 13th. If your 8th grader received a pink permission slip to go on this trip, it should be turned in tomorrow, Feb. 12th.
This is the first of 4 CTE trips - only certain students signed up to go on the Medical Professions Field Trip.

Congratulations to these students for placing in the top 4 at last Saturday's Chess Tournament. They qualify to move on to the Regional Tournament, which will be held at NAC next month. Go Gobs!

HMS After School program will be offering a beginning crochet class this Wednesday, 2/12, and next Wednesday, 2/19. See graphic for details.


We will not have school on Friday, 2/14, so any Valentine's deliveries will be accepted on Thursday, 2/13. Please read the information attached concerning any deliveries. Thank you.


REMINDER for 7th & 8th grade students! Boots and Bling is Friday, Feb. 7th, from 7-9 p.m. Drop off and pick up will be in the back of the school.

Due to Parent Teacher Conferences next week, both 5th and 6th grade volleyball clinics will be held on Monday from 3:30-5:00.

7th & 8th grade parents with students interested in track -
There will be a PARENT MEETING on Monday, 2/10 at 5:30 in the Cash Center for any athletes who are interested or have signed up for track. This parent meeting is for 7th-9th boys and girls track. Coach Evert and Coach Ewing will cover the meeting.

Next week, Feb 10 - 13, is National FBLA Week! The HMS chapter of Future Business Leaders of America have planned for a fun week!
They will be collecting change Monday & Tuesday as a class competition fund drive to donate to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and conducting a bake sale Monday & Tuesday in the morning to raise funds for a National FBLA competition trip. Students will also have the opportunity to dress up for the week!

The 2025 HMS Track Season is about to begin. Track practice will start Monday, 2/10, after school at 3:30. Please read through the information in the graphic for more information.


On Saturday, HMS Robotics competed at the Russellville Winter Classic. Team 1125F qualified for State by winning the Teamwork Championship. The team members are WP, Makayla Howard, Easton Fieghert, Truett Bardwell, E.J. Emmons, and Walker Whitmore (not pictured.)
