The Harrison Fire Department is watching the low water crossing on Speer Drive for possible flooding and road closure. In the event of that road being closed, parents may access Burls Way for car rider pick up from Orendorff and McCoy Drive (roads by Pizza Hut and Westrock Orthodontics) or Speer Drive coming from the Skyline area. If Speer Drive is closed, the HPD will have an officer at the intersection of Speer Drive and McCoy/Burls directing traffic.

🌾 On Tuesday, 2nd Period EAST partnered with Chas McCoy from The Nature Conservancy along with Joan Lipsmeyer and her husband to collect prairie grass seeds. These seeds will be used to replant areas impacted by the road construction on Goblin Drive.

💡 The experience also inspired fresh ideas for future EAST projects connected to Baker Prairie—exciting things ahead!

🧢🧶 Service in action! Yesterday our Harrison Middle School FBLA members picked up their knitting needles and began making hats that will be donated to Arkansas Children’s Hospital and North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. The first picture shows part of our Community Service Team working on a scarf, something new for this year’s project! In addition to hats, we’ll also be donating scarves to our local nursing homes to bring warmth and encouragement to residents. This project is a favorite HMS FBLA tradition, combining teamwork, learning a new skill, and most importantly, giving comfort to children in need. We’re proud of our students for carrying on this legacy of service and kindness! 💛 #HMSFBLA #ServiceLearning #FutureBusinessLeaders
