🎄❤️ Razorbacks Giving Back This Christmas! ❤️🎄

The HMS 6th Grade Razorbacks Team spread holiday cheer by volunteering their time as Salvation Army bell ringers during the Christmas season. We are so proud of their willingness to serve others and give back to our community.

What a perfect way to show their Goblin Spirit! 💙💛🐗✨

Weather permitting, Crouse is planning to pave portions of Goblin Drive tomorrow. Flaggers will be present, and traffic delays are expected.

They plan to stop paving during afternoon school traffic; however, we are encouraging everyone to avoid the area if possible.

Please be aware in case you notice changes to traffic flow or routes.

Harrison Middle School Student Council Food Drive for Ozark Share & Care

Christmas Spirit Week, Dec. 8th - 13th, Student Council members collected canned and packaged food donations. Whether it was canned goods, pasta, or rice, every single item donated made a big difference.

Each grade competed to donate the most food. It’s a time when we focus not just only on receiving, but on showing kindness and helping others. Our wonderful 5th graders have truly shown the spirit of Christmas by winning the contest. To celebrate, our Student Council members made a presentation to the entire 5th grade class. Each student received a candy cane and a heartfelt "thank-you" for thinking of others during this season of giving.

Mrs. Bryant’s class had a blast exploring physical changes using dry ice! Students enjoyed exciting demonstrations and hands-on learning that made science come alive.

Science was definitely a hit! 💙💛

Our guest speaker was Brooklyn Wright — full-time FCA staff member and former Razorback track athlete! She shared an inspiring message titled “What Is the Story REALLY About?”

Brooklyn reminded students of the true meaning of Christmas found in Luke 1–2 and encouraged us to think about who is writing our story. Are we focused on our own success, desires, and plans… or are we fixing our eyes on God — the Author of our lives — who guides our steps and transforms our story through His love, mercy, grace, and His Son, Jesus?

We’re grateful for her encouragement and the meaningful start to our day. 🙏💙

🏐 Volleyball Clinics Start Right After Break!

Our HMS After-School Volleyball Clinics begin January 5th for 5th grade girls and January 6th for 6th grade girls! This is a part of the HMS After School Program.

Clinics run January–March from 3:30–5:00 PM in the HMS 5/6 Gym.

Please wear tennis shoes and be ready to play!

The grid method encourages students to focus on small sections rather than the entire picture at once, helping them build confidence and accuracy. Several students found great success using this technique!
